Greetings to all my fellow fan filmmakers, artists, writers, costumers, set-builders, actors, general talent... and dreamers....
What this forum is all about is YOU. This is about YOUR productions, whether they be high, medium or low-end productions with the resources of full studios or someone with a set of legos and a lot of creativity. This is a place like the Captain's Table, where you can make yourself at home, talk shop, share resources, barter services, avoid reinventing the wheel and generally... making better and better Star Trek by being cooperative and uplifting of everyone's efforts.
This place is not for trolling and arguing. Sometimes that happens, but we, the managment, humbly ask you all to keep it civil. This is a grand experiment. IF we can be successful, our collective talents can help each other make the best quality Star Trek productions possible. Mostly, this is going to be in the area of joint crossover production, whether it be sharing talents or techniques, or extra heads to problem solve, that's the idea. Have a roadblock to finishing your project? Hopefully, you'll find an expert here that can help you with solid advice and experience.
But like anything, you will get out of this what YOU put into it. No one will make your film for you. But we can help. We might ask for your help with a talent you posess to barter services. And that's the way things have to be. So, you're here becuase you were ambitious enough to put your hat in the ring and say, "I want to make Star Trek." Now, let's see what you've got.
"May the wind be at your back."
