Well I guess I will be the first to post a comment in the Official Star Trek part of this forum.
Don't know about you guys but the one older Enterprise I really liked was the 1701-B I just thought it looked great. While I was not a huge fan of the Excelsior Class in general there was something about the modified styling on the lower Stardrive section that really caught my eye.
If I was going to have a club that dealt in that era of time it would certainly be with this version of the Excelsior Class.
We know that this ship was introduced in Generations as sort of a cool way to make for a great opener into getting Kirk in the movie and others, but it was a nice way to see Enterprise B also. Seems funny it took TNG to get us Enterprise B & C... Anyway I think they should have done some small Phase II TV movies, one every once in awhile, and shown more in between ships like B and C and even Captain Sulu on the Excelsior. As you may know there was a huge push started on an Excelsior Campaign to have the adventures of Captain Sulu and his crew, but just never quite made it.
I would love to have seen a few adventures with Captain John Harriman and his crew as well. Such will never be the case I guess. Maybe sometime in the distant future if we decide to write another time travel story, maybe Grandeur can go back and meet Captain Harriman for some kind of an advednture, who knows. Love to hear from others that really loved Enterprise-B even if we did not get to see a lot of her.
